The Funke media group reported that the situation at Zaporizhia, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, is deteriorating. The state-owned operator of the plant, Energoatom, stated: "Russia is sending more troops and military vehicles to the site of the plant." Its head, Petro Kotin, told Funke that "the condition of the equipment and personnel is deteriorating."
