Lion Bite Ends Life of Palestinian Child

A Palestinian child has died after being attacked by a lion inside a zoo in the Gaza Strip, according to a spokesperson for the police in Gaza. The police statement said: "A 6-year-old boy died from serious injuries inflicted by a lion inside the zoo in Khan Younis, southern Gaza." The spokesperson mentioned that the child climbed inside the protective barriers surrounding the lion's cage and approached one of the openings, which led to his injury and subsequent death. He added that the police have opened an investigation into the incident.
