Beddawi Camp witnessed clashes between members of the "Fatah" movement and others from the "Arab Front," during which firearms were used. Two injuries were reported. The clashes caused panic among the camp’s residents, as well as among students and teachers who were in their classrooms and schools. Calls were made on social media platforms urging people not to roam in or out of the camp.
Factions, the popular committee, and community leaders made efforts to communicate in order to stop the clashes and restore calm to the camp. It was reported that the clashes are due to longstanding disputes between the two factions that have recently resurfaced.
