Russia Intercepts British Military Aircraft Over the Black Sea

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that two Russian Su-27 fighter jets intercepted three British military aircraft over the Black Sea that were heading towards the Russian border. The ministry stated that "the intercepted aircraft included a reconnaissance and electronic warfare aircraft of the RC-135 type and two Typhoon fighter jets." It added, "As the Russian fighter jets approached, the foreign military aircraft retreated away from the borders of the Russian Federation."
