Scotland Celebrates the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla

Scotland is celebrating the coronation of King Charles and his wife Camilla today, Wednesday, with a grand procession, an air display, and other ceremonies. A public procession will feature around 100 figures representing various components of the Scottish scene. A 21-gun salute will be fired from Edinburgh Castle in honor of the king. There will also be protests along the Royal Mile organized by republicans opposed to the spending of large sums on such ceremonies.
