Official figures show that after the first round of matches in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the average total attendance for the matches was 94 percent compared to the stadium capacity designated for hosting the World Cup. Following the completion of the round involving all 32 participating teams, over 3 million tickets were sold for the tournament, according to FIFA. The highest attendance at the tournament occurred on November 24 at Lusail Stadium, where 88,103 spectators watched Brazil defeat Serbia 2-0. The fan festival at Al Bidda Park in Doha recorded the highest cumulative attendance, with a total of 98,000 spectators throughout the day.
