The Cybersecurity Council of the United Arab Emirates won the Global Summit on Information Society Award in the category of Information Security for the Cyber Pulse initiative. The summit was held at the International Telecommunication Union's conference hall in Geneva, Switzerland, under the auspices of the United Nations. This achievement adds to the country's record of accomplishments across various sectors and international events. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the Cybersecurity Council, explained that the initiative contributes to achieving the goals of the Global Summit on Information Society, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the "We Are the UAE 2031" vision, aiming to position the UAE among the top three countries in the cybersecurity readiness index, support safe digital transformation, enhance cybersecurity levels, and improve the quality of digital life for all citizens and residents in the country.
