The Egyptian Cabinet approved on Wednesday the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and the Norwegian company Scatec, related to the commencement of studies for the implementation of a project for an electricity connection line from Egypt to Europe via Italy, aimed at exporting electrical capacities from renewable energy of approximately 3 gigawatts.
