Russia Announces Increase in Volunteer Military Personnel

Admiral Vladimir Tsymlyansky, head of the organization and mobilization department in the Russian Ministry of Defense, confirmed that "the number of individuals willing to join military service under contract has increased significantly. To ensure their timely registration, the Ministry of Defense has expanded the registration point network and increased the number of trainers." He also affirmed that the selection of volunteers is ongoing in close cooperation with regional authorities. Additionally, he disclosed that the plans of the General Staff of the Armed Forces do not include a second wave of mobilization, and the number of volunteers is sufficient.
