The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the progress achieved by "U.S. efforts to demarcate the borders between the sisterly Lebanese Republic and Israel, which will allow Lebanon to benefit from gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea, face economic challenges, and achieve security and stability," as reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra). The official spokesperson of the ministry, Ambassador Haitham Abu al-Foul, affirmed "Jordan's support for all steps that serve the interest of the brotherly Lebanon and contribute to its security and stability, and Jordan's full solidarity with the brotherly Lebanon in confronting the challenges it faces."
