The public prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, tweeted: "Some people have not yet accustomed themselves to the logic of the state and law; they are still living in a militia logic. That is why they are astonished that when a judge is subjected to slander and defamation, he turns to the law and claims to defend his dignity." She added, "I hope you will someday realize that people have dignity and that the judiciary has a sanctity and respect that cannot be easily trampled."
