Qatar's Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi announced today, Tuesday, at an energy conference in Vancouver, that Qatar will sign a record number of long-term future production contracts for liquefied natural gas (LNG) this year. He added at the LNG 2023 conference that about 40 percent of the new global LNG production will come from Qatar by 2029.
