Patriarchal Exarchate Commits to Daylight Saving Time Tonight

The media office of the patriarchal exarchate in Bkerke announced in a statement that "the sudden decision to postpone the implementation of daylight saving time by one month, issued by caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, was made impulsively without consulting other Lebanese components, and without any consideration for international standards, or the confusion and damages it causes domestically and abroad, making it impossible for the Maronite patriarchate and its affiliated parishes and institutions to adhere to it." The statement added that "the patriarchal exarchate commits to moving the clock forward one hour tonight, the night of Saturday-Sunday, March 25-26, 2023."
