Bukhari Meets Jumblatt: Sustainable Solutions Come from Within Lebanon

The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, received the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, in Klemansou, in the presence of the head of the Democratic Gathering bloc, MP Taymour Jumblatt, and MP Wael Abou Faour. They discussed various current situations and developments. Bukhari stated: "We have always emphasized that sustainable solutions come from within Lebanon, not from outside." Additionally, Bukhari underscored the Kingdom's principles regarding the necessity of filling the presidential vacancy and expediting the election of a president for the republic. He stressed that there is no veto against any candidate and that the Kingdom does not have a specific candidate. Saudi Arabia respects the choices of the Lebanese and reiterated that elections are an internal Lebanese sovereignty matter, as he conveyed the Kingdom's call for consensus among the Lebanese.
