Germany Delivers Leopard Tanks and Britain Delivers Challenger Tanks to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that his country has delivered heavy Leopard tanks to Ukraine, while a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Ukraine has received British Challenger tanks, without specifying the number. Scholz stated at a press conference in Rotterdam, "Yes, we have delivered Leopard tanks," confirming information published by Der Spiegel that Berlin has supplied Kyiv with 18 Leopard-2 tanks. For its part, the German Ministry of Defense indicated that it has provided Ukraine with two "Buffel" armored vehicles. The ministry's statement clarified that it had previously supplied Ukraine with 40 Marder armored personnel carriers.
