Blinken to Visit China Soon

The agency reported that Blinken is scheduled to meet with officials in Beijing on June 18. Reuters mentioned on Wednesday, citing a source who requested anonymity, that Blinken would travel to China in the coming weeks. U.S. State Department representatives could not be reached immediately for comment on the report. The top U.S. diplomat had previously canceled a planned visit earlier this year due to the flight of a suspected Chinese spy balloon over the United States.
