A Lebanese official source revealed to "Sputnik" that "U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Barbara Leaf is set to visit Lebanon in the last week of this month as part of her regional tour." The source explained that "Leaf is scheduled to meet with Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri, Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib, as well as several Lebanese political leaders, as part of following up on the outcomes of the five-nation meeting held in Paris in February, which included the United States, France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, and discussed the Lebanese issue in all its political, economic, financial, and humanitarian aspects."
