Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received the caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miqati at the second presidential headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. They discussed the general situation and the latest political developments.
After the meeting, Miqati stated: "My visit today to His Excellency President Nabih Berri, on the occasion of the holidays, was to wish him a happy year filled with health, wellbeing, reassurance, and prosperity for our country, Lebanon. Naturally, the meeting included discussions on various matters related to the functioning of the state, and I sought his opinion on these issues. We are on the same page and maintaining ongoing communication with His Excellency."
