For the Third Time: Belarusian President Contacts Putin

The Belarusian news agency "BelTA" reported that President Alexander Lukashenko spoke by phone this morning, Sunday, with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The two leaders had spoken at least twice yesterday, Saturday. Lukashenko mediated an agreement between Moscow and Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian private military group "Wagner," who agreed to de-escalate the situation and go to Belarus.
