He stated, "The Iranian delegation will take the necessary measures in Riyadh and Jeddah to resume the activities of the embassy and the consulate general." The foreign ministers of both countries met in Beijing this month in the first official meeting between the top diplomatic officials of the two nations in over 7 years, following an agreement to restore diplomatic relations brokered by China.
