Did Wagner Fighters Receive a Promise of Amnesty if They Surrender Their Weapons?

The TASS news agency reported today that a Russian legislator stated that the Wagner private military group was promised amnesty if they surrendered their weapons, but they need to do so quickly. The agency quoted Deputy Pavel Krasheninikov as saying, "Wagner fighters can still surrender their weapons and avoid punishment due to their achievements during the special military operation (in Ukraine), but they should do so quickly."
