The White House estimated today, Monday, that Russian forces have suffered human losses of 100,000 soldiers, both dead and wounded, during the battles in the Ukrainian region of Bakhmut over the past five months. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby stated, "This figure is based on U.S. intelligence estimates and includes more than 20,000 dead, half of whom are from the Wagner Group," noting that the attack on Bakhmut has halted and failed.
