Title: WHO Delivers Initial Batch of Insulin to Lebanon

The World Health Organization has delivered to Lebanon an initial batch of insulin, which included 60,000 vials and 300,000 necessary syringes for administration. The Ministry of Public Health confirmed in its statement that larger quantities of insulin, in all its forms, will arrive in the coming weeks to meet the needs of healthcare centers for the next 12 months. Insulin is considered one of the essential medications that the ministry ensures is available free of charge at primary healthcare centers distributed across all Lebanese territories. The ministry also pointed out that beneficiaries of primary healthcare services can obtain their essential medications according to the treatment protocols adopted at these centers, which are of high quality and comply with global standards.
