A boat capsized in Lake Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday morning, resulting in the death of 6 people and the disappearance of 64 others. Local official Mustafa Mambula from Idjwi Island stated, "The motorized boat was carrying 150 people on their way from the village of Mugoti on Idjwi Island to the city of Goma, and 80 people survived the capsizing."
