Former Miss Turkey, Seda Sarıbaş, has succeeded in winning a parliamentary seat during the elections held in Turkey this past Sunday, following the Justice and Development Party's list winning 3 parliamentary seats in Aydın province. The former queen was born in 1984 in Istanbul and received comprehensive training in human management at Boğaziçi University. She also holds a master's degree in sociology from Aydın Adnan Menderes University. She won the title of "Miss Turkey" in the 2006 competition. She is married to a real estate trader and has three children.
