OPEC Secretary-General Haitham Al Ghais stated today, Monday, that "the lack of investments in the oil and gas sector can cause market volatility in the long term and poses a risk to growth." He emphasized at a conference in Dubai that "the world needs to focus on reducing harmful emissions rather than replacing one form of energy with another," stressing that "there is a need for significant investments in all energy sectors."
