South Korea's Customs Authority: South Korea Did Not Import Crude Oil from Iran

Preliminary data from the South Korean Customs Authority revealed today, Friday, that Seoul did not import crude oil from Iran in March, nor in the previous year. The data also indicated that South Korea, the world's fifth-largest crude oil buyer, imported a total of 12.5 million tons of crude oil last month compared to 11.5 million tons imported a year earlier. The Korea National Oil Corporation will publish the final data on South Korea's crude oil imports later this month.
