Following the decision to close banks until Wednesday morning, banking sources confirmed to MTV that several banks have requested a very limited number of branch employees to be present during the closure starting from tomorrow, Monday, to ensure liquidity in Lebanese pounds and dollars for ATMs at the branches, and to process the dollar check clearance completed last Friday. Consequently, depositors will be able to use ATMs, and public sector employees can withdraw the social assistance that has been transferred to their accounts. According to the information, most banks will continue to fulfill citizens' requests through the "Sairafaa" platform in fresh dollars, within the monthly limits set for each client, starting tomorrow, Monday. Banking sources confirmed that most ATMs will be supplied with cash dollars tomorrow morning to meet citizens' needs. However, they reiterated that all branches will remain closed, and no citizen will be allowed to enter, with tightened security measures starting tomorrow, despite the closure.
