Ukraine: Grain Deal Needs International Pressure on Russia

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak indicated today, Tuesday, that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' proposal regarding the improvement and extension of the safe export agreement for Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea will not succeed unless the international community collectively pressures Russia. Podolyak also denied the Russian Ministry of Defense's claims that Kyiv is attempting to attack its ships in the Black Sea, which Moscow stated could threaten the possibility of extending the grain deal.
