Chinese state media reported the successful launch of a kerosene and oxygen-powered rocket by Beijing Tianpeng Technology, marking the first time a private Chinese company has sent a liquid-fueled rocket into space. This step brings the industry closer to developing reusable rockets. Liquid-fueled rockets offer significantly greater control over their flight paths; some, like SpaceX's Falcon 9, are capable of returning to Earth through a controlled vertical landing process.
