Russia Attacks Ukrainian Forces Attempting to Reach Bakhmut

The Russian news agency Interfax reported today, Wednesday, that the Ministry of Defense stated its forces attacked reserve troops from the Ukrainian army as they attempted to reach the devastated city of Bakhmut to support it. Russia claimed that forces from the Wagner Group, a private military company, seized three more points in their efforts to control the city located in Eastern Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed earlier that units of the Wagner Group continue to fight for control of the city of Bakhmut. They also released a video showing a Russian "Lancet" drone attacking a Ukrainian "Buk" air defense system.
