Walt Disney Company revealed today, Friday, that it will release three new films from the "Star Wars" franchise, stating, "Actress Daisy Ridley will return to participate in one of these films set in a galaxy far, far away." Ridley will reprise her role as Jedi heroine "Re" in the film, which takes place 15 years after the events of "The Rise of Skywalker," released in 2019. Disney mentioned that the upcoming film will focus on the rebuilding of a new Jedi Order amid the rise of other forces aiming to destroy it.
