Support for Kyiv: Training of Ukrainian Pilots to Begin This Summer

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated on Sunday that "his country will begin training Ukrainian pilots this summer, to support Kyiv in its war with Russia." On the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, Sunak, alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed that "no one wants peace more than Zelensky, but the terms of peace must be based on Ukraine's principles." Throughout the three-day summit, member countries signaled to Russia that they are prepared to support Ukraine in the long term.
