Black Market Dollar Stabilizes with an Increase

The black market dollar continues its fluctuations in unofficial currency exchange transactions, with the exchange rate for the dollar against the Lebanese lira this morning, Saturday, recorded between 90,000 and 91,000 lira per dollar, before it returned to register between 90,000 and 90,000 lira for one dollar. The dollar had closed last night at a price ranging between 90,000 and 91,000 lira for each dollar. It is worth noting that the Central Bank of Lebanon announced in a statement yesterday that "the trading volume on the Sayrafa platform reached 60 million US dollars at an average rate of 73,100 Lebanese lira for one dollar according to the exchange rates of transactions executed by banks and money exchange institutions on the platform."
