Indian police reported that five foreign militants were killed in an early morning gun battle in Kashmir near the Line of Control on Friday. The police indicated that "the search operation in the area is still ongoing, and the nationalities of the slain militants have not yet been identified." A large cache of weapons and ammunition belonging to the fleeing infiltrators was found during the search of the area.
