Britain: Russia Withdraws Poorly from Operations in Southern Bakhmut

The British Ministry of Defense stated today, Saturday, that "the past four days have seen a poorly conducted withdrawal of Russian forces from their positions in the southern flank of operations in Bakhmut." In its daily intelligence update, it mentioned that "the withdrawal has allowed Ukrainian forces to regain at least one kilometer of territory." The intelligence update also noted that "the area holds some tactical significance as it was a Russian launch point on the western side of the Donetsk-Donbas canal, which represents the frontline in some areas of the sector."
