Peace Talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan Coming Soon

Armenia and Azerbaijan will soon hold talks regarding a peace agreement in an effort to resolve the long-standing disputes between them, as reported by the Russian news agency "TASS" citing the Armenian Security Council Secretary on Friday. The agency stated that the "Armenian Minister of Defense discussed the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which has been the cause of two wars between the countries in the past three decades, with the new commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in the area." French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna visited Azerbaijan and Armenia in the past two days, urging both sides to take steps to build trust and resume negotiations on resolving the conflict.
