Abdollahian: The Quad Meeting in Moscow is a Step Forward

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian described the quad meeting in Moscow on Wednesday as "positive," stating that it is a step forward and progress has been made in bridging perspectives between Syria and Turkey. Abdollahian stated to reporters on Wednesday evening before leaving Moscow, "I seized the opportunity to attend the quad meeting in Moscow, held separate meetings with the foreign ministers of Russia, Syria, and Turkey, and discussed the development of bilateral relations and the pursuit of cooperation, as well as economic and trade issues." He noted that "significant progress has been achieved in Iranian-Turkish relations, as well as relations between Tehran and Moscow," considering that "the volume of commercial relations between Iran and these two countries reflects an optimistic situation."
