Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi revealed that "Hezbollah was behind a rare attack, with a roadside bomb in Megiddo, northern Israel, last month, which resulted in the injury of a driver." He noted, "We have seen Hezbollah carry out operations like this, but it was a kind of opposition we are not used to." The Israeli army stated that "security forces killed a man who was carrying an explosive belt after he apparently crossed from Lebanon to Israel and detonated a bomb on March 13 near the intersection in the area." Officials at that time mentioned that "an investigation is underway into the possibility of Hezbollah's involvement in the explosion."
