The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Tuesday, that "its forces carried out missile strikes on targets across Ukraine last night, disrupting Kyiv's supplies of ammunition to the front lines as well as troop movements." In a regular daily briefing, it stated that "the Russian armed forces conducted an intensive nighttime attack using high-precision, long-range weapons targeting Ukrainian barracks and ammunition depots." It added, "The strikes led to a disruption in the advance of soldiers and the delivery of ammunition to combat areas." Ukrainian officials stated earlier today that "air defenses shot down 23 of the 25 cruise missiles launched by Russia, primarily targeting the capital Kyiv during the night, in an attack just hours before Moscow's Victory Day celebration with a military parade in front of the Kremlin."
