World Bank Supports Lebanese Development Sector with $200 Million

Lebanese Finance Minister Youssef Khalil revealed that the World Bank intends to provide Lebanon with a loan of approximately $200 million to support developmental sectors, particularly the agricultural sector. Khalil received the World Bank's Vice President, Fadil Belhaj, today in his office at the Ministry of Finance, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, George Maarawy, and Prime Minister's advisor, Samir Dahar. During the meeting, they reviewed the projects funded by the bank, notably the assistance loans for the program targeting the poorest families and support for wheat.
