Stoltenberg: Sweden's NATO Membership is Within Reach

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced today, after a meeting in Brussels aimed at overcoming Turkey's objections to Sweden's membership in the alliance, that Sweden's accession to NATO "has become within reach." He added, "The time has come now for Sweden to join the alliance," clarifying that a positive decision could be made at the NATO summit in Vilnius next week.
