Germany Supports Ukraine's EU Membership Bid

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed on Sunday that his country supports Ukraine's efforts to join the European Union. He made this statement during a speech in Aachen while presenting the prestigious Charlemagne Prize to the Ukrainian people. Scholz stated, "Volodymyr Zelensky, you have our full support on your path to the European Union," addressing Zelensky, who was present in Aachen to receive the award on behalf of the Ukrainian people. Ukraine has asked its allies for assistance in becoming a member of the European Union and NATO.
