Marcell Jacobs had to postpone his participation in the 100-meter race against world champion Fred Kerley in Rabat at the Diamond League meeting early next week. Jacobs stated on Thursday, "I find myself having to miss out due to an injury issue that I am working to resolve in the short term. This is what prevented me from competing in Morocco." He confirmed that "he is still in strong physical condition and is ready for a great outdoor season. However, the challenge is just postponed."
