Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala indicated today, Friday, that "the European Union is exploring ways to use frozen Russian assets to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine." After a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Fiala stated: "This is not a simple issue, neither from a legal perspective nor otherwise. However, intensive negotiations are taking place here in particular, so that we can also utilize frozen Russian assets to assist Ukraine."
