Iran Considers Exiting the Nuclear Agreement

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced that "the doors of nuclear negotiations will not remain open forever," noting that "a plan has been proposed in parliament to set a deadline for the nuclear negotiations," as reported by the "IRNA" agency. He stated, "Iran is committed to cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency." The last round of negotiations took place in Vienna last August, but has since stalled, as Iran has demanded verification of the lifting of sanctions and guarantees regarding the continuity of the nuclear agreement and the cancellation of the agency's related assurances.
