Jordan will host a meeting tomorrow, Monday, for the foreign ministers of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, along with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad, according to the Jordan News Agency "Petra." The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sinan Majali, announced that the meeting comes as a continuation of the consultative meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries along with Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt, which was hosted by Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on April 14, 2013. It aims to build on the communications these countries have had with the Syrian government, in the context of their proposals and the Jordanian initiative to achieve a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
