Confusion Between Baabda and the Serail... And the Reason?

In recent developments regarding the maritime border demarcation issue, and amid Israeli Chief of Staff threats that "Hezbollah" and the Lebanese state will bear responsibility "if our sovereignty is violated," a state of confusion emerged at the official Lebanese level in the evening. This confusion was characterized by the government serail's denial and the Baabda Palace's confirmation that it had received the coordinates of the maritime points being negotiated from U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein. While the electronic platform of the caretaker prime minister denied through a "concerned government source" that Hochstein "delivered the coordinates of the maritime buoys line, which is the last point being negotiated, in preparation for sending his full proposal next week," Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab quickly leaked media information confirming, in his capacity as "mandated by the President of the Republic," that Lebanon had received the coordinates of six maritime points.
