In this context, the league stated that "the United States will host the pre-season tournament for the upcoming season, featuring 6 clubs from the Premier League, from July 22 to July 30." The six participating clubs are Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Fulham, and Newcastle United. These teams will play 9 matches across 5 cities.
