German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated upon arriving in Japan for the G7 summit that the member countries will tighten sanctions on Russia in order to prevent any circumvention of these restrictions. He said, "The tightening of sanctions will be done in a good and practical way." The summit will kick off in Hiroshima tomorrow, Friday, and will last for three days.
